Advantages of Gold and Silver

Gold and silver have many advantages over financial investments sold to you by banks, building societies, investment companies, and life insurance companies, or their advisors or representatives. Because those who rely solely on paper currencies today are living in a 'virtual world.' Paper money is only a promise of payment. And promises are often not kept.

Gold and silver are always worthwhile:

  • Global acceptance as a means of payment
  • Investment in real bars, no certificates or similar promises
  • Effective protection against inflation
  • Gold is exempt from value-added tax and capital gains tax, while silver, platinum, and palladium are subject to 19% value-added tax but are exempt from capital gains tax
  • Crisis-resistant and stable
  • Demand for gold and silver is greater than the supply. This means appreciation in value due to the scarcity of resources.
  • Both the Bundesbank and the European Central Bank (ECB), as well as many countries, hold enormous gold reserves and continue to buy more. Especially Asian countries and countries like China, Mexico, and Russia. And this is despite the existence of gold deposits and mines in these countries.
  • Despite price fluctuations, gold has always retained its value. The 'strong' Euro has lost about half of its value since its introduction, while the price of gold has almost quadrupled in the meantime.
